The Authors Guild BackinPrint.com Program

The Authors Guild has specified a cover format for all books produced through the Backinprint.com program. We will professionally design a new cover for your book according to the imprint design format, which is as follows:

• There are three cover background colors to choose from: light green, golden yellow or light blue.
• All Authors Guild covers have a graphic box that takes up one half to two-thirds of the cover.
• The title of the book is placed above the graphic box; the author's name below it.
• Above the title of the book is a text box which includes a published review quote or a keynote.

Ideas for cover graphics should be indicated on the submission form.

When submitting cover graphics to iUniverse, they must be in TIFF (.tif) file format, CMYK colorspace, 300 dpi resolution, and match the dimension of the book's trim size.

When submitting a photo of the author for the back-cover, it must be in either TIFF format (.tif, CMYK colospace, 300 dpi, and 2x2" printed size) or JPEG format (.jpg, CMYK colospace, 600x600 pixels, 300 dpi, 2x2" printed size).
